It is expected from the authors of International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Business and Management (IJETBM) to adhere to the utmost standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism at every stage of research and publication of articles. The research and writings of all the authors submitted for consideration should meet the highest international standards of publication ethics.

Authors who submit their papers to International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Business and Management (IJETBM) must:
- Conduct themselves responsibly and professionally in all aspects of their research.

Originality, Plagiarism, and Academic Authenticity
The submitted papers should contain original scholarly work and must not have been published in other places at the same time. Plagiarism is not condoned by the International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Business and Management (IJETBM) in any shape or form, be it outright duplication of work, paraphrasing without citing sources, multiple publications, manipulation of images, or unethical practices such as self-plagiarism. Genuine contributions by the scholar to the research and writing process must be recognized as authorship. The authors should:
- Include only qualified authors as contributors to the article.

Any conflicts of interest that could affect the research results or their interpretation should be declared by the authors. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assisted Content and Generative Tools Policy
IJETBM understands that scholars can use artificial intelligence (AI) technology in helping to prepare research in aspects such as language editing, grammatical correction, formatting, and organization of their research. The use of the technology has to be made in an ethical manner and with full human supervision.
The AI technology is not to be acknowledged by listing it as authorship or co-authorship since AI technology is incapable of being held accountable for the accuracy, originality, ethics, and intellectual property of the research. Authors retain the sole responsibility for all contents submitted including those generated, edited, and produced with AI technology.
Authors have the responsibility to ensure that there is no fabrication of content, misleading citation, inaccurate referencing, manipulated images, and other acts such as plagiarism of confidential data. If AI technology is used in the process of preparing the manuscript, authors are expected to make it clear within the manuscript itself, preferably in the acknowledgement section. The IJETBM encourages the use of AI technology responsibly and ethically in line with the international standards for publication ethics and integrity.

AI-assisted writing authors must ensure that:
- The use of AI tools should be done responsibly and supervised by humans.
- All the content submitted should be accurate, authentic, and comply with ethical principles.
- References, citations, statistics, and any other information provided should be verified through AI tools.
- Extensive use of AI-assisted technology for writing needs to be adequately declared.
- AI tools must not be used to fabricate information or data, manipulate images, or violate the rules of publishing ethics.
- Fully take responsibility for the manuscript prepared even when AI technology was involved.
